You can get started by first inviting Troopr to a Slack channel. If you already invited Troopr to your channel during onboarding process, you can skip this step.
1. Invite Troopr to Channel
Invite Troopr to a channel by typing following command

/invite @Troopr Assistant

Once you invite Troopr, follow instructions to link your Jira project to the channel. Troopr Assistant will guide you to
1.
Setup notifications for the channel
2.
Setup Reports for the channel
3.
Setup issue creation & listing defaults for the channel
You can change the configuration anytime by typing the following command in the channel

2. Customize Channel Notifications
Get started by typing the following command in your channel

Click on Notification Settings to be redirected to Troopr web app where you can customize the channel notifications.
In the channel preferences page, click on an existing notification subscription or click on "Add subscription" and follow instructions.
PS: Every notification message sent to the channel will contain link to customize notification preferences.
3. Customize Personal Notifications
Get started by typing the following command in "Troopr Assistant" bot channel

Click on Notification Settings, you will see your current personal notification settings. Click on customize to be redirected to the webapp where you can configure personal notifications.
PS: Every personal notification message sent to you will contain link to customize your notification preferences.
4. Schedule Jira Reports
Get started by typing the following command in your channel

Click on "Show Reports" to see list of reports scheduled to be delivered to the channel. Click on "+ Report" to be redirected to the webapp where you can manage scheduled reports.
In the webapp, you can configure an existing scheduled report here or click on "Schedule New Report" and choose from one of the pre-build templates and customize as needed. Reports will be send to channel as scheduled.
5. Try Troopr Commands
The following commands should get you started with managing your issues in Slack.

/t list - to show list of issues assigned to you (or any custom filter)

/t create - to create an issue in any project with any custom fields

/t find - to search any issue by key or keyphrase from across projects
You can update any issue by fetching list of issues using list or find commands.
Troopr also has a persistent home page within Slack that appears when you click on Troopr Assistant on the Slack sidebar. If you do not see "Troopr Assistant" in your contact list, click on "+" button next to Apps and choose "Troopr Assistant"
Troopr Home has all of your Jira information available at a glance without command inputs.
